KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has acquired thyssenkrupp Hissit Oy, a Finnish subsidiary of the German industrial group thyssenkrupp specializing in elevator and escalator maintenance services.
"The acquisition of thyssenkrupp Hissit complements our operations in the Helsinki, Tampere and Turku regions and allows us to further strengthen our position in the Finnish market," says Noud Veeger, Executive Vice President for KONE Central and North Europe.
