New KONE Mobile app brings more digital services to maintenance customers

KONE MobileKONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, introduces a new digital service to maintenance customers. With the new KONE Mobile app, facility managers and building owners can receive equipment service updates for the full maintenance process on their smartphones. The KONE Mobile app is also designed for two-way communication. Customers can make a service request using the app and get in touch with a KONE representative with a single tap.

One of the key benefits is the service transparency it provides, allowing customers to receive a real-time notification when the service technician arrives on site and when the work is completed. "KONE Mobile makes it easier for our customers to be better informed, thereby enabling them to provide better service to their tenants," says Hugues Delval, Senior Vice President of Maintenance at KONE. "We're putting the information generated by our service technicians in their field mobility app in the hands of our customers. Linking these two apps is the latest advancement on our journey of providing digital services."

The KONE Mobile app complements the internet-based KONE Care® Online service and together they  provide maintenance customers with a full overview of their equipment. KONE Care® Online provides customers with historical data on service response and equipment performance. They can check maintenance data and schedules, and review equipment performance over time for better planning. The ability to compare costs and performance enables easier identification of equipment that may benefit from modernization or adjustments to the current maintenance schedule, and provides critical data for future budgeting. With the help of the KONE Mobile app, building managers can keep up to date with their equipment performance with greater flexibility.

KONE Mobile app is available for customers with Apple® and Android(TM) smartphone devices in 21 countries in Europe and North America as well as Australia and New Zealand.
